1. Paste a link
Copy the Amazon product page link, or its 10-character ASIN, into the box. Typing a product name instead opens Amazon's highly rated list for those words.
2. We check five review signals
- Plenty of reviews: the product's review count meets our benchmark, so there is an established collection of reviews to read.
- Highly rated: the current star rating meets our benchmark.
- Steady rating over time: today's rating is close to the product's longer-term rating.
- Natural review pace: reviews added in the past month are a modest share of the total.
- Popular right now: recent buying activity meets our popularity benchmark.
3. You get an A, B or C grade
You see the grade, the checks the product passed and a plain explanation of each. A means a strong set of review signals, B helpful signals to explore, and C okay: read a few reviews before you buy. Limited data can also lead to C.
What Review Checker does not do
Review Checker does not read review text, does not detect fake reviews, and never removes, labels or changes a review or Amazon's star rating. Signals can be incomplete or older than today's price, so it is always worth reading a few reviews too.
