1. Paste a link or type a product
Copy the product page link from Amazon and paste it in the box. On a phone, tap Share, then Copy link. The product's 10-character ASIN works too.
Typed words work differently: they open Amazon's highly rated list and its discounts for those words, and show matching verified deals on wowpriced. A grade needs a product link or ASIN.
2. We check today's price
We look up the product's current price on Amazon.com, with shipping when Amazon charges it, and Amazon's list price when the product page shows one. We also look for a verified deal on wowpriced for the same product. A check takes a few seconds.
3. You get an A, B or C grade
A means a great price, B a good price and C a fair price. When there is not enough price information, the grade is C. The grade describes today's price, not the quality of the product.
4. Read the report
Your report shows today's price and when we checked it, Amazon's list price as plain information, any verified deal we have for the product and top sellers like it on Amazon, with a link to its review signals in Review Checker.
What Fake Deal Spotter does not do
It does not read, rate or label reviews, and a grade is not a verdict on the product. Prices change during the day, so confirm the price on Amazon before you buy.
